Club History

Founded in 2019, Stags Lacrosse provides dynamic off-season lacrosse opportunities for Youth and High School players in south central Wisconsin. The club was created by high school coaches in the Madison, WI area who wanted to develop players with fun and drive, but without the financial drain and inherent problems with "elite" programs. Stags Lacrosse fields boys teams at the Youth and High School levels for practice and tournament play in Summer and Fall Seasons, and also Box Lacrosse Teams during the Winter months. High School and College level coaches from the Madison-area lead players from their local programs, along with players from other areas who want to participate. Stags players compete and win, while growing lacrosse skills and fostering a brotherhood of fun throughout the entire Club. Stags also will allow boys who want to play at the collegiate level to pursue that goal through counseling, access to video highlights, and overall exposure to college coaches.

With top-notch facilities like KEVA Sports Center (indoor turf) and Otto Breitenbach Stadium (outdoor turf), Stags Lacrosse is one of Wisconsin's top club teams. Teams will be limited to a fair number of players, divided strategically among the various positions. While the club continues to expand, we hold the values of hard work, team play, accomplishment and family close as our mission.

Stags Players also have exclusive access to Badger Prime, an elite program comprised of the best players from several Wisconsin clubs. Badger Prime was developed to allow boys who want to seek college recruitment to play on a more competitive and visible venue. In 2020, Badger Prime teams played at showcases in Indiana and Arizona during the fall season.
